Primary Responsibilities
Course Design Creation
- Creating the detailed course design (as per the approved concept note and high-level design document, if applicable)
- Ensuring the file naming conventions, formatting and other standards are adhered to
- Finalising the list of templates to be used in the course
- Providing as accurate an estimate of the seat time/duration as possible given the course design
Course Design Reviews
- Mapping the design to the concept note (if applicable)
- Mapping the design to the raw content
- Reviewing thoroughly from the instructional and language perspectives
- Reviewing from the templates perspective
- Providing detailed review notes for the ID/CW to understand the feedback and make changes accordingly
- Explaining changes to the ID/CW if required
- Validating the fixes made and taking ownership till the design is ready for storyboarding
Concept Note Creation
- Analysing the raw content
- Understanding the client’s requirements
- Understanding the planned internal efforts
- Creating concept(s) based on the above three inputs
- Providing effort estimates for each concept
- Finalising the number and style of characters and backgrounds to be used
- Preparing the high-level design/outline
- Conducting an internal walkthrough to ensure the proposed concepts are feasible and will fit in the allocated efforts for all teams
- Conducting a walkthrough for the clients and selling the concept
- Making modifications based on client inputs as required
Proposal Support
- Preparing the instructional component of the proposal (this part will usually always include the tasks given under the Concept Note Creation section)
- Preparing the entire proposal when required
Client Interaction
- Attending client calls in person, on the phone, or online as required
- Being punctual, informed and polite while attending the meetings
- Ensuring that SKILLDOM interests are protected at all times
- Taking detailed minutes of the meeting and sharing them with the stakeholders as required
- Working closely with the sales team and supporting them as required for client calls, concepts and proposals
Mentoring
- Coaching new employees on all the above tasks as required
- Training and mentoring team on generic ID principles and project-specific requirements
Recruitment
- Creating and maintaining job descriptions for each role
- Preparing the MRF for open positions
- Working with the HR team for shortlisting candidates
- Creating and maintaining recruitment tests for each role
- Evaluating test papers submitted by candidates
- Interviewing candidates
- Taking hiring decisions with the management (based on candidate performance and other factors such as urgency and salary-level)
- Ensuring the required systems are in place for the new employees
- Onboarding the new employees

- Validating the fixed bugs (close/re-open)
- Sending status update mails at every required stage
Feedback Documentation
- Creating the feedback spreadsheet and capturing all issues accurately
- Validating all issues and assigning to the concerned teams
- Categorising changes into ‘valid’ and ‘change request’ categories in consultation with the project management team
- Analysing all ID issues and incorporating the required changes
- Releasing the feedback to the team and coordinating for fixes
- Ensuring closure of all issues
